稱重變送器也叫做重量變送器，是一種將物理量變換成電信號(hào)，將毫伏信號(hào)輸出的傳感器經(jīng)隔離放大轉(zhuǎn)換成標(biāo)準(zhǔn)直流信號(hào)的變送器。
稱重變送器在工業(yè)稱重過(guò)程中常用的一種變送器，廣泛應(yīng)用于數(shù)據(jù)采集、信號(hào)傳輸轉(zhuǎn)換和集散稱重控制系統(tǒng)和配料系統(tǒng)，主要應(yīng)用于水泥、混凝土、玻璃、造紙、塑膠、化工、冶金、有色、棉紡、試驗(yàn)機(jī)等行業(yè)稱重式料位、重量負(fù)荷、張力、拉壓力信號(hào)的變送、顯示、檢測(cè)等。
美國(guó)Transducer Techniques SST-HV是一款智能插拔式TEDS IEEE 1451.4變送器，連接稱重傳感器或者扭矩傳感器TEDS接頭，可自動(dòng)校準(zhǔn)。SST-HV通過(guò)RS232端口，將數(shù)據(jù)采集給PC端。
The Transducer SST-HV is a Plug & Play Smart TEDS IEEE 1451.4 compliant Transmitter. Just plug in a TEDS compatible Load Cell or Torque Sensor and the SST-HV will automatically self-calibrate. When used with a non-TEDS Load Cell or Torque Sensor, the SST-LV Transmitter is easily programmed using a PC with an RS232 port and Instrument Setup (IS) software, which provides a graphical user interface. The SST-HV may be powered from 95-240 Vac ±10%. The SST-HV has an Isolated transducer excitation output that is selectable between 5Vdc or 10Vdc. There are Dual solid state relays and an Isolated 4-20 mA, 0-20 mA or 0-10V analog output. There are three Isolated serial data transmitter output ( RS232 , Half-duplex RS485, full-duplex RS485 ) and three serial protocols that are software selectable (Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII and Custom ASCII).
Isolation to 250V rms is provided for power, signal input, analog output, relay outputs, and communications. Isolation adds safety and avoids possible ground loops. The transducer excitation output is isolated to 50V from signal ground
