General Guidelines for Inspection:

1. Pull on the nylon webbing and stitching, if it tears or the stitching breaks…the vest should be replaced.

2. Replace if the floatation is flatened and has lost buoyancy.

3. Keeping these workvests out of the sun when not being used will cause them to last and perform much better than constant exposure to UV.

1. Pull on the nylon webbing and stitching, if it tears or the stitching breaks…the vest should be replaced.

2. If the workvest has damage to the floatation then it should be replaced.

3. If the floatation looks as though it is “flat” and has lost buoyancy, then I would replace it.

4. If the workvest shows excessive wear, I would replace it.

5. Keeping these workvests out of the sun when not being used will cause them to last and perform much better than constant exposure to UV.
