No. 1 GLOW WIRE TEST Apparatus, according to Standards IEC 60695-2-10 (II edition 10/2000)

Description:

The apparatus is complete of:

· Glow wire test apparatus model is Art. 02.06

· Electric control board with digital instruments, voltmeter, ammeter, temperature measuring equipment

· Box burner with internal volume of 500 dm3 made in sheet iron, painted in colour black inside, complete with glass door.

· Apparatus painted in colour RAL 7032 outside

· Aluminium working table with to position in plane and graduated scale with fasteners for references of depth of penetration of heating element in the test piece

· Aluminium truck to hold the test piece, sliding on bearing, which can be operated from outside of the protection

· Test piece holder support in chrome-plated and perforated plate, adjustable in the three directions

· Pressure load between heating element and test piece obtained by traction masses = 1N

· Rod with survey index of the height of the flame with graduated scale up to200 mmover heating body. Vertical distance between heating element and wood table carrying =200 mm

· Heating element in NiCr 80/20 wire diameter =4 mm

· Thermocouple in NiCr and NiAl wires diameter 0,5mmx100 mm

· Working temperature range = 450° -960°C max

· Leads switch and fuse protection

· Connection to the mains: 230 V – 50 Hz (or 60Hz) – KW 0.5

· Max. dimensions of the equipment cm 98x65x125, Weight Kgs. 105

· A plate in pure silver 2x100x0,1 mmcomplete with certificate of analysis, 10mm thickness pinewood wood and English manual are supplied with the apparatus

· Optional spare parts can be selected: a)Thermocouple type “K", b) Heating element in NiCr 80/20 wire diameter =4 mm c) plate in pure silver 2x100x0,1 mm

The required moving rate is achieved as follows: from the outside the carriage is approached at 10-15 mmfrom the glow-wire and then it is released and it approached by inertia due to the drawing masses with a force of 1 N.
