The 2711P-T12C6D2 is a Human Machine Interface (HMI) that is manufactured by Allen-Bradley. This PanelView Operator Terminal is part of the PanelView Plus 1250 product category that is built with a variety of communication interfaces for flexibility of communicating with controllers utilizing modern and legacy protocols. It has multiple integrated communication ports such as Data Highway Plus (DH+), Remote I/O (RIO), DH485 as well as the standard communication interfaces of Ethernet and RS232 ports.
With the 12.1-inch Color active matrix, thin-film transistor (TFT) with liquid crystal display (LCD) display, this PanelView Plus 1250 operator terminal is applicable for installation in large applications. Aside from large applications, this operator terminal may be designed with terminal application running color coded animations. Machine or process operators are able to interact to the process via the analog resistive touchscreen interface with actuation lifespan of 1 million presses. This operator terminal is provided with built-in Random Access Memory (RAM) amounting to 128 MB and Flash memory amounting to 128 MB as well.
The Allen-Bradley PanelView Plus P-T12C6D2 has an operator interface which is capable of performing a variety of functions including development, system development, efficiency, simple upgrades, maximum flexibility, and inventory reduction. The Compact flash and the RAM come in a variety of sizes and they can be ordered separately by the user. In addition, they can also be ordered with the logic module or the PanelView Plus CE terminal, depending on the preference of the user.
